Dr. Stewart uses Bone Marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC). In this process Dr. Stewart takes bone marrow from the iliac crest in the pelvic bone. Local anesthetics are injected into the area and a specialized needle is inserted into the bone to extract the liquid bone marrow. The marrow is then centrifuged and injected into the treatment area.
